The sizes of the holsters are based on the overall length of the tool or knife when closed.

Additionally, Outdoor Edge provides three sizes of premium nylon sheaths specifically made for folding knives. Each sheath is equipped with a Zytel belt clip and carabiner for easy attachment to D-rings or loops. The sizes of the sheaths are determined by the handle length when closed. The 5 to 5.3-Inch Sheath, Model FS-50, is designed to accommodate folding knives within that range.

Key features of the top-quality nylon holsters include a rigid side nylon case with a foam core and a Velcro attach flap for added security.
